Abstract

The authors incorporated contemporary research about language acquisition in bilingualism. They emphasize the importance of comprehensive cognitive assessment in order to determine and stimulate specific areas of language and cognitive deficits. The article indicates the areas diagnosed with the SON-R test and presents the results obtained from a bilingual three-year-old girl. The applied stimulation techniques were also described.
