License Agreement

(Granting of Non-Exclusive License)

Personal ID Number (PESEL) _____________________,
and PTL in Lublin, 20-040, ul. Sowińskiego 17, represented by the Chairperson of PTL.

§1
1. The Author declares that they have created the work, to which they hold exclusive and
unrestricted copyright (moral and economic rights), and ensures that the work is not
encumbered by the rights of third parties.
2. According to the provisions of the Act on Copyright and Related Rights, a work is
defined as a creation meeting the following criteria:
a) it is a result of creative activity,
b) it has an individual character,
c) it has a defined form.
3. The Author declares that the work has not been previously published (under the same
or a different title) and does not constitute part of another publication.

§2
1. The Author grants (non-exclusive license) PTL in Lublin the right to use the scientific
work in the following fields of exploitation:
 Recording and reproduction by any technique, including digital formats,
without restrictions on the method or form of digital recording;
 Making the work available online via the Internet without limitations on
location, time of access, or the number of users or downloads.

2. The Author consents to the editorial processing of the work and the introduction of
editorial corrections by PTL. In this regard, the Author agrees not to exercise
protection under their moral rights.

§3
1. The Author grants PTL the rights specified in §2 of this agreement free of charge, for
the duration of economic copyright, without territorial limitations.
2. PTL may sublicense the acquired rights.
3. Granting a non-exclusive license allows the Author to retain their rights while
permitting others to use the work under terms consistent with the Creative Commons
Attribution 4.0 license (CC-BY), available at:
https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/legalcode .

§4

1. The agreement is concluded for an indefinite period, with the possibility of
termination after five years, subject to a two-year notice period.
2. In light of the costs incurred in preparing the publication, both parties agree in good
faith not to withdraw the license.

§5
The Author retains the right to publish their article elsewhere online (outside PTL's website)
after the lapse of one calendar year from the date the work is published by PTL, provided PTL
is notified in advance.

§6
1. Matters not covered by this agreement shall be governed by the provisions of the Civil
Code and the Act of February 4, 1994, on Copyright and Related Rights (consolidated
text: Journal of Laws of 2006 No. 90, item 631, as amended).
