Abstract

The Verbal Fluency Test (VFT) is the most widespread and simplest tool for neuropsychological diagnosis. The number of reports on children’s results is negligible compared to adult studies. The aim of the article is to present the results and to analyze the research on semantic verbal fluency in the field of selected categories of proper names (names, cities, rivers) in 5-year-old children - without neurological disorders, within the intellectual norm. The aim of the research is to show the difference in the lexical resource of the group of surveyed children on the example of the category of proper names.
