A Model of Speech Therapist and Orthodontist Cooperation

This article presents the model of cooperation between a speech-language therapist and an orthodontist in the care of a patient with a speech disorder coexisting with dental stomatognathic system abnormalities. The competences of both specialists were determined, the principles on which cooperation should be based, as well as a tool helpful in documenting the course of diagnosis as well as speech-language therapy and orthodontic treatment.
